About Lucy

I know what it feels like to feel stuck

My name is Lucy, and I help women re-enter the workplace after divorce or a significant life shift. For 30 years, I worked in recruitment — helping people find the right roles, build confidence in their careers, and move forward with purpose. I ran my own recruitment consultancy for 16 years, and that work never felt like a job. It felt like a calling. Then my world changed. I lost my business and my marriage at the same time. Almost overnight, I went from being someone who helped others rebuild their professional lives to feeling completely lost in my own. My confidence, which I'd spent decades developing, was gone. I had to find my way back from scratch — and that experience changed everything about how I understand what women really need when life falls apart. It's what led me to become a Divorce Coach. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with some truly incredible women — women who arrived broken and left with a sense of themselves they thought they'd never find again. Watching that transformation never gets old. It feels like witnessing someone step into the light after a very long winter. But I kept noticing something. So many of the women I worked with were ready to move forward emotionally, yet still felt stuck practically — especially when it came to work. Financial independence wasn't just a goal for them; it was essential. And that's where my recruitment background became something I couldn't ignore. That's why I created this programme. To bring together everything I know — about people, about careers, and about what it takes to rebuild — so that the women I work with don't just recover. They genuinely flourish.
